The Full Story

About

The owner is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Supervisor and Licensed Marriage and Family Counselor.  University of Houston Graduate School of Social Work and Texas Woman’s undergraduate. The owner formed a mental health business in 1994 with other licensed professionals during a period of time when the current focus of mental health was limited and provided a pivotal role in accelerating current clinical and recovery and resiliency services that private providers and their clients benefit from. The business grew within 2-5 years into a million-plus company and continued to grow into several cities in Texas (including Austin, DFW, San Antonio, San Marcos, and Beaumont). The company was sold in 2019 to a multi-billion-dollar LLC and the owner continued for some years as CEO and is currently providing a key functional role for the company but has plans to retire to provide this back-to-basics, no-nonsense approach to healthcare that was a key factor in the success of the initially owned company. The owner has an extensive background in inpatient and outpatient hospital direct service and administration, including acting as CEO of an inpatient hospital prior to forming her own company in 1994.
